Finding accommodations in Kyoto during the period of UCGP2008 could be very difficult because late November is a peak time for people coming to Kyoto to enjoy famous burning leaves.

Room arrangements will be done with first-come-first-served basis. Rooms for participants of the JSPS Japan-France bilateral meeting have been booked separately (see the list).

We suppose that most foreign invited speakers will want to stay until Saturday (Nov 29) morning, but the hotel (Shirankaikan) is already fully booked for the night of Nov 28, unfortunately. There are however some possible options for people who want to stay until Saturday morning.

+ 5 single rooms are available at Kyodaikaikan, and 2 twin rooms are available at Shirankaikan. Please let us know if you want to use those rooms.

+ We may recommend you to find a room in Osaka for the night of Nov 28, since we suppose you will go to Osaka-Kansai airport anyway for your returning flight.
